Travel insurance for foreign relatives, friends and acquaintances coming to The Netherlands for a temporary stay.

• Covers medical costs, luggage, travel assistance
• Meets Schengen visa requirements
• Premium: € 2 per day
• Duration: minimum of 14 days, maximum of 4 months. Prolongation is not possible
• Coverage in Europe (with the exception of country of origin)
• Winter sports can be covered (supplementary premium)
• Also for people over 70. A medical statement of a doctor is required and the person to be insured needs to be accepted by the insurance company
• Can only be taken out if the person to be insured has not yet left the country of origin.

Pre-existing diseases and ailments
Diseases, ailments and medical complaints which existed prior to the commencement of the insurance are never covered. (This applies to all travel insurances.)

Include the following details on the application form:

• personal details policy holder = the person who takes out insurance on behalf of the person to be insured (name, address, date of birth, phone number and e-mail address)
• bank account number (in order to collect the premium; without a back account number the insurance can not be concluded)
